Our story
From collecting clothing to manufacturing capability
Ragtex was born from our experience at Kirtas, where we collected used clothing from households and organizations to give it a second life. Working closely with textiles, we discovered that fabrics hold value far beyond clothing. We identified growing demand for high-quality cleaning rags in oil and gas, ports, workshops and factories — and found Oman relied mainly on imported products. We established Ragtex to manufacture these products locally.
Why we exist
To strengthen Oman's industrial self-reliance by turning reclaimed textiles into dependable, locally made solutions — closing the gap that imports leave behind, and proving that "made in Oman" can mean faster, better and more accountable, not just cheaper.
